We confirm that the above-referenced product complies with the applicable requirements of the following Union harmonisation legislation: Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 July 2023 on batteries and waste batteries. This Regulation amends Directive 2008/98/EC and Regulation (EU) 2019/1020, and repeals Directive 2006/66/EC. Product conformity has been assessed against relevant technical specifications and harmonised standards. The product satisfies the applicable mandatory requirements of Article 6 (substance restrictions) and Article 13 (labelling and information provision) of this Regulation.

Article 7 — Carbon footprint

Carbon footprint requirements apply solely to electric vehicle batteries, rechargeable industrial batteries and LMT batteries and do not cover this product.

Article 8 — Recycled content

Recycled content requirements apply solely to industrial batteries, electric vehicle batteries, LMT batteries and SLI batteries and do not cover this product.

Article 9 — Performance and durability

Performance and durability requirements for general‑use portable batteries explicitly exempt button cells.

Article 10 — Performance and durability

Performance and durability requirements apply exclusively to rechargeable industrial batteries, LMT batteries and electric vehicle batteries and are not applicable to this product.

Article 11 — Removability and replaceability

Requirements on the removability and replaceability of portable batteries apply only to batteries pre-installed in end devices. As this product is a standalone button cell supplied separately and not pre-assembled into any end device at the time of delivery, this article does not apply.

Article 12 — Stationary battery energy storage

Safety requirements for stationary battery energy storage systems are not applicable to this product.

Article 14 — Health status and service life

Requirements relating to battery health status and service life information apply only to batteries fitted with electronic data acquisition components. This product features no intelligent monitoring or data acquisition capability and cannot support battery status monitoring; therefore, this article is not applicable.

Articles 48–52 — Supply chain due diligence

These obligations apply to economic operators that place batteries directly on the EU market or put them into service. Our company is a battery manufacturer and does not carry out activities to place batteries directly on the EU market. Relevant market compliance responsibilities are undertaken by downstream cooperating economic operators. As a battery manufacturer and supplier, we will continuously cooperate with downstream customers to complete and verify relevant supply chain compliance documents.

Accordingly, the requirements of Articles 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 of the Regulation do not apply to this product.
